Recept: Butter Chicken


5 tomatoes
4 cloves of garlic
1 large onion
2 tbsp garam massala
2 tbsp curry massala
2 tbsp curry madras
2 tbsp cumin powder
2 tbsp chili powder
2 tbsp ginger powder
2 tbsp tumeric
1 thumbsize piece of ginger
200ml coconut milk
500 gr chicken breast
4 tbsp TESMI, seasoned ghee


Preparation Method:

 1.⁠ ⁠Cut the chicken breast into chunks the size of your finger
 2.⁠ ⁠⁠Marinate in 1 tbsp of each of the mentioned spices
 3.⁠ ⁠⁠Bake in 2 tbsp TESMI seasoned ghee until brown
 4.⁠ ⁠⁠Set aside
 5.⁠ ⁠⁠In the same pan, add 2 tbsp of TESMI seasoned ghee
 6.⁠ ⁠Dice the onion in preferred size, and add tot the pan, fry until golden brown
 7.⁠ ⁠⁠Add 4 cloves of garlic, pressed, stir
 8.⁠ ⁠⁠Add 1 tbsp of all spices, stir for 1 minute
 9.⁠ ⁠⁠Peel and cut up the ginger and ads to the pan
10.⁠ ⁠⁠Dice the tomatoes and add to the pan. Fry until the tomatoes have soften
11.⁠ ⁠⁠Add the coconut milk and let it simmer for another 5mins
12.⁠ ⁠⁠Take everything out the pan, blend it in a blender and strain it before adding it back to the pan
13.⁠ ⁠⁠Let simmer for 2 minutes, add the cooked chicken, and let simmer for another 10minutes
14.⁠ ⁠⁠Add salt to taste
15.⁠ ⁠⁠Garnish with mint or coriander and plate up with rice, naan, paratha or roti!
